What different pin grades are there?
- A grade: a near perfect pin, best pins in the batch. No visible flaws. (Keep in mind that these pins are handmade!)
- B grade: Minor scratches and flaws but is only visible upon close inspection and does not affect the whole look of the pin from afar.
- C grade: more noticeable flaws including dust, under-filled enamel etc.
I will only have seconds if the pins just is not suited for C grade but if the pin is really bad - junk, I will not sell it on my shop.
(Seconds: worst of the batch with flaws like missing enamel, missing metal etc)
What do you mean by preorders?
Since pins are typically too expensive for us pin-makers to fund ourselves, we hold preorders to help fun the initial cost of the pin. This means that those who preorder will receive pins for a discounted price compared to in-stock pins due to the long wait times. People who preorder pins will also receive freebies (Stickers, cards etc) and receive A grade pins.
Rules for preorder pins:
1. Preorders cannot be refunded since all the money goes directly to the manufacturer
2. The prices of preorder pins would be cheaper than in-stock pins due to the long waiting time. Preorder time varies from a month to 2-3 months depending on how smooth production of the pins are.
Please understand this when you preorder!
What happens after preorder pins are fully funded?
Schedule if everything goes well:
1 - 2 weeks - art work approval
3 weeks - 1 month for production and shipping to me
1 week grading and packing by me
shipping out preorders
in-stock sales
Through this process there may be several problems like shipping or production that are not in my control so please understand!
Will there be any GOs?
This might change in the future but as for now, I will not have any GOs specifically for preorders since the slots are so limited. (I will probably have GOs for instock sales instead though!)
Do you ship worldwide? How long will my package take to arrive to me?
Yes I do. I always ship with registered mail and tracking numbers will be sent out in email when labels are printed. (Keep in mind that I print labels in batches so even though tracking is sent to you, it might take a few days to actually ship!) As for time to ship, I will be shipping from Hong Kong and the postal service is pretty efficient. In general after I drop off packages, it will take around 1 - 4 weeks to get to you depending on where you live.
How long is your processing time? (Instocks sales only)
I am a full time high school student so please bear with me! I will try to ship orders within a week or two after ordering.
